International CBRNE InstituteOn Thursday 9th March the ICI organised a Medical CBRN information day. Preparing and keeping the medical community safe is paramount in dealing with any CBRN related event. BrigGEN (ret) Ioannis Galatas, Manager of the ICI CBRN Knowledge Centre, stressed the need for knowledge sharing in the medical community. Communications, response plans and preparedness are very necessary in Europe and we shouldn’t wait until a large-scale hostile or industrial event happens to educate and protect first responders. Participants of the day also found out about new technologies and advancements in Personal Protective Equipment from sponsors of the ICI and tried on some of the equipment available
