ICI Belgium
The ICI’s primary aim is to enhance CBRNE risk mitigation at regional, national and international levels, in particular through its two Knowledge Centres (CBRN & E). The ICI engages in a wide range of CBRNE-related activities including developing and supporting academic and policy-related research, organising conferences, seminars and workshops, as well as professional development programmes for responders by means of courses and master classes.
Knowledge centres
The ICI unique Knowledge Centres address topics from crisis/consequence management to scientific issues, emergency planning, or technological challenges and development.
High-level professionals
KC members are very high-level professionals from all backgrounds (international organizations, armed forces, first responder community, scientists, equipment providers, etc.) ready to assist, inform and advise on best practices about CBRNE matters.
At the forefront
The ICI collaborates with other partners such as institutional, academic and corporate bodies and aims to be at the forefront of CBRNE-related activities, from policy to practical application
Comments Off on Knowledge is the best defence against Terrorism
“The CCTP Board is proud to say our first “CCTP” Belgium class was a great success. A mix of law enforcement, military and private sector amongst the participants made us achieve our main goal which was reaching out to every industry and bring them all together into one class.
Due to the high level profiles and their years of experience it came as no surprise that all participants passed the exam and received the CCTP Credential on the final day. A big congratulations to you all!
We chose the ICI institute as our Belgian partner because of its fine reputation and their advanced knowledge on CBRNE which created an added value for our CCTP program. The Director of the institute Yves Dubucq turned out a trustworthy and reliable partner for organising this course. Not only operational wise did he handle everything smoothly, Yves also managed to bring in the National News channel RTL and RTBF to do a full cover story on the course. The ICI institute offers endless opportunities for CCTP to work with and we look forward to future projects in Belgium together with Yves and his team.
Comments Off on Conflict Armament Research’s in Advanced CBRNE course
“After having taken the Basic CBRN Awareness Course at the International CBRNE Institute a couple of months ago, Conflict Armament Research’s Iraq/Syria investigative unit just completed the CBRN Advanced Course. This time, the team had the opportunity to go through practical and realistic scenarios prepared by the ICI instructors coming from Hotzone Solutions Group from 28th of August to 1st of September.
Working with the ICI is the best way to prepare my teams to face the current threat profile of our area of operation. The expert instructors were always eager to share their own experience and remained flexible to respond to our needs. Once again, thank you!”
